From 17–19 July 2026 at Potters Fields Park, London, Thailand Showcase 2026, organised by The Royal Thai Embassy, London—successfully brought Thai culture to the heart of the UK.
As part of the showcase, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) highlighted Muay Thai soft power through the
“DITP x WBC Muay Thai” Masterclass, drawing over 100 participants of all ages to learn authentic Thai boxing from professional fighters.
The official opening was presided over by Mr. Pornvit Sila-on, Deputy Director-General of DITP, alongside UK Muay Thai legends Jonathan Haggerty (ONE World Champion) and Freddie Haggerty. The duo headlined live stage demonstrations, met with fans, and led interactive workshops. The event also featured authentic Muay Thai gear, apparel, and lifestyle products, receiving an enthusiastic response from the British public.
