สำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ ณ กรุงลอนดอน แนะผู้บริโภคทั้งชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติในสหราชอาณาจักร ในการซื้อข้าวหอมมะลิไทยแท้ผ่าน “เครื่องหมายตราเขียว” หรือ “ตรารวงข้าวสีเขียว” (Thai Hom Mali Rice Certification Mark) ซึ่งออกโดย กรมการค้าต่างประเทศ กระทรวงพาณิชย์ เพื่อรับรองคุณภาพและมาตรฐานข้าวหอมมะลิไทยที่ส่งออกไปจำหน่ายต่างประเทศ
ป้องกันการปลอมแปลง การใช้ชื่อใกล้เคียง หรือภาพลักษณ์ที่ทำให้เข้าใจผิด และคุ้มครองมาตรฐานสินค้าสิ่งบ่งชี้ทางภูมิศาสตร์ (GI) ของไทย
🔎 วิธีสังเกตง่าย ๆ มี 3 ข้อ:
1️⃣ เครื่องหมายต้องเป็นรูป “รวงข้าวสีเขียวล้อมรอบด้วยวงกลม” พร้อมข้อความ THAI HOM MALI RICE / ORIGINATED IN THAILAND เท่านั้น
หากมีเพียงคำว่า Thai Jasmine Rice อาจไม่ใช่สินค้าที่ได้รับการรับรอง
2️⃣ ใต้เครื่องหมายหรือบนบรรจุภัณฑ์ต้องมี เลขทะเบียนผู้ส่งออก ที่สามารถตรวจสอบได้
3️⃣ ข้าวต้องมีความบริสุทธิ์ของพันธุ์ขาวดอกมะลิ 105 หรือ กข15 ไม่น้อยกว่า 92% ตามมาตรฐานการส่งออก

The Green Certification Mark : Your Guarantee of Authentic Thai Hom Mali Rice (Jasmine Rice)
The Thai Trade Centre, London, advises both Thai and foreign consumers in the UK to check for prioritise quality by seeking out the “Thai Hom Mali Rice Certification Mark” or the “Green Logo” when purchasing an authentic Thai Hom Mali rice. This certification mark, issued by the Department of Foreign Trade (DFT), Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, ensures that the rice meets rigorous national standards for premium quality. In a marketplace of imitations and look-alike brands, this mark serves as your definitive guarantee of Geographical Indication (GI) authenticity, protecting the heritage of Thailand’s finest export.
🔎3 Simple Ways to Verify Authenticity:
1️⃣ Thai Hom Mali Rice Certification Mark : Look for a “green logo with a golden rice ear” with the sprcific text “THAI HOM MALI RICE/ ORIGINATED IN THAILAND”; Please note: Products labelled only as “Thai Jasmine Rice” without this seal are not officially certified.
2️⃣Traceable Exporter Registration Number: A registered exporter number must be clearly visible either directly beneath the mark or on the packaging for verification.
3️⃣ The Rice Purity Standard: To ensure the signature aroma and texture, the rice must maintain a minimum purity of 92% of Khao Dok Mali 105 or KDML105 (White jasmine rice), in accordance with Standards of Thai Fragrant Rice B.E. 2559
